Kai tried to type in chat: “Hacker??” But his message turned to garbled symbols. The texture pack was rewriting his client.
He installed it anyway.
The screen flickered. A message appeared, not in chat, but burned into his HUD:
He never played Bloxd.io again. But sometimes, late at night, he swears he can still see through the walls of his room. And he’s terrified of what’s looking back.
He tried another server. Banned: Unauthorized Client Modifications.
Kai had been grinding on Bloxd.io ’s “Survival” server for weeks. His diamond mine was a neat, torch-lit tunnel straight down to Y-level 12. He was proud of it. But pride doesn’t pay for enchanted netherite.
He logged back in, heart pounding. For a second, nothing changed—just the usual cobblestone walls of his mine. Then he realized his pickaxe wasn’t rendering properly. He looked up.
Kai stared at the screen. His username was still visible in the top corner. But his skin was gone. Just a featureless gray mannequin, floating in emptiness.
