Georgie is trying to hide Mandy's pregnancy pillow while Mandy pretends to be "just a friend helping with the tires." Mary serves iced tea to Mandy's mother, who looks around suspiciously.

"Her name is Dr. Patricia Rusk. She's a visiting adjunct physicist from Caltech. She's giving a guest lecture on quantum decoherence. I intend to impress her with a working prototype of a single-photon interference detector."
