George Sr. takes Georgie fishing. The new ice chest works too well—everything is frozen solid, including the bait. They sit in silence. Georgie finally admits he doesn’t care about fishing; he just wanted his dad to talk to him like an adult. George Sr. sighs, cracks open a (barely thawed) soda, and says, “Alright, smart guy.
