It’s disappointing that in 2024, Windows 11 still buries this basic functionality. The registry method works, but average users shouldn’t need to edit the registry for a simple keyboard setting.
Works reliably once configured, but the UX is outdated. Microsoft should add a toggle in Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Keyboard . windows 11 numlock on startup
