Played with steely grace by Afton Williamson, Talia Bishop walked into the station with a chip on her shoulder and a file full of receipts. In a show filled with idealistic rookies and cowboy detectives, Bishop stood out as the one person you couldn't bluff. Unlike Nolan, Bishop wasn't a newcomer to life. She was a transfer from a smaller department, but in the LAPD, that made her a "probie" (probationary officer) all over again.
