Tariq walks back to his dorm. Sax watches from a car. Inside, Tariq opens a lockbox: Ghost’s watch, a pistol, and a photo of the family before everything shattered. He whispers: “You told me to be better. But all they left me was your war.”

Tariq returns to his dorm at Chatham University (fictional Ivy-equivalent). Roommate: Brayden Weston, a rich, nervous white kid who deals Adderall to pay off his own gambling debts. Brayden knows Tariq’s reputation. “Dude, your dad was Ghost. People are either terrified of you or want to use you.”
Tasha, now hiding in a Newark safehouse, calls Tariq. “The Tejadas are connected to the Zetas. Don’t trust them. But don’t cross them either.” Tariq realizes: he can’t leave the game — the game just rebranded.
