I’ve designed this as a suitable for ages 8–12, though adaptable. Session Title: The Box That Might Be Empty (A P4C enquiry using the Philips structure) 1. Stimulus (5–7 minutes) Story / Scenario: “Maya finds a small wooden box in the attic. It has no lock, no keyhole, and a note stuck to the top that says: ‘Inside this box is something that cannot be seen, touched, or heard – but it is the most important thing you will ever own.’

Maya shakes the box – nothing moves. She puts it in the sunlight – no shadow changes. She asks her grandmother, who smiles and says: ‘Don’t open it. You’ll know when it’s yours.’ p4c philips
