If Task Manager opens in compact mode, click "More details" at the bottom.

The Taskbar (the bar usually at the bottom of your screen) is the command center for your PC. Sometimes, it gets "stuck"—the clock freezes, icons disappear, or the Start menu won’t open.

Right-click on the Start button (or press Ctrl + Shift + Esc ) to open Task Manager .

Unlike a web browser, there is no shortcut to refresh just the Taskbar. Instead, you must restart the process that runs it: Windows Explorer .
