Here’s an interesting angle on the Friends with Benefits (2011) film—beyond the obvious “can sex friends fall in love?” trope.
On the surface, it’s a rom-com starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis as two cynical New Yorkers who try a no-strings-attached sexual relationship. But what makes it interesting is how it openly mocks the very genre it belongs to.
