Dr. Dolittle is a certified time capsule. It’s not high art, and it’s certainly not the original 1967 Rex Harrison musical. But it a wildly entertaining, frequently hilarious family comedy that coasts entirely on Eddie Murphy’s charm and an absolutely stacked voice cast.

Anyone feeling nostalgic for 90s Eddie Murphy, families with kids (8+ due to some mild potty humor), or fans of talking-animal movies that don’t take themselves seriously. dr dolittle 1
