By now, it was midnight. Rohan’s stomach hurt from laughing, but Bunty insisted on number three. "This one’s not just funny," Bunty said softly. "It’s medicine."
"Better," Bunty grinned, pulling out a worn-out notepad. On top, in bold letters, it read:
– The Silent Slapstick.
Rohan picked up the list. He saw one last item written in tiny letters at the bottom, one Bunty had missed.
He watched Sanjay Dutt as a gentle goon pretending to be a doctor. The scene where he teaches a grumpy old man to say "Jaadu ki jhappi" (magical hug) hit Rohan differently. He thought of Meera. Maybe she was right. He had forgotten.
– The Absurdist Masterpiece.
Three dots appeared. Then her reply: "Which movie first?"
"Next," Bunty said, scrolling to the second movie on his list. "Two slackers fighting over a millionaire's daughter." Rohan was skeptical, but then he saw Salman and Aamir Khan as Amar and Prem, trying to outdo each other with the world’s dumbest disguises. The scene where the villain, Crime Master Gogo, arrives with his theme music made Rohan laugh so hard the samosa fell out of his hand. "Gogo ji, aap to aagaye!" he wheezed.
